Help launch the National Retired Volunteer Fireman and Paramedic Fund
We are seeking startup support to help form, launch, and build the foundation for the Retired HERO Fund Plan, a future nonprofit dedicated to honoring retired volunteer firefighters, paramedics, veterans, public servants, and community leaders with practical support when they need it most. Our suggested startup goal is $25,000 to support nonprofit filing costs, outreach materials, website setup, donor communication, early planning, and the first steps toward future assistance programs.
Our story
Every community has heroes who showed up when others needed help. Volunteer firefighters answered emergency calls. Paramedics provided care in moments of fear and uncertainty. Veterans served with courage. But when their years of service end, many retired heroes face challenges that are not always seen: medical bills, limited retirement income, emergency home repairs, wellness needs, and transportation costs.
